On the so called “flat island” Pianosa you can look at the wonderful flowering of native plants, visit the ancient catacombs, or simply go snorkeling in the crystal clear waters of the Cala Giovanna. Pianosa is one of the seven pearls of the Tuscan Archipelago, protected by the National Park. Public access is limited for its protection. A boat leaves from the port of Marina di Campo every morning and takes you to Pianosa in 50 minutes.
